Happy 100 years
Tyler County High School

The Tyler County Museum celebrated the
100th Birthday of Tyler County High School on
August 23, 2008
This is the first county high school
in the  state of WV.
 



Hillbilly Days

September 4-5, 2009

It is that time of year once again for the annual Hillbilly Days Festival slated for Sept. 4 and 5.

Make sure to stop by on the way through Middlebourne.

There will be tours at the museum both days and  country music on the cabin porch on Saturday.

There will be a bake sale and a yard sale at the museum on Saturday.

The parade will start at the Senior Citizens Center at noon on Saturday.

 "Thank you all who supported the Museum during Hillbilly Days!!"


 

 
Upcoming Events

 

Christmas Tree Silent Auction
November 15 - 28, 2009

Decorated Christmas Trees will be displayed at the museum for a silent auction.

Bids will open Sunday November 15, 2009 at 1PM
and
Bids will close Saturday November 28, 2009 at 3PM

The museum will be open to view the trees and place your bids on the following days:

Sunday Nov.15, 2009 1PM to 4PM
Tuesday Nov. 17, 2009 3PM to 6PM
Thursday Nov. 19, 2009 3PM to 6PM
Sunday Nov. 22, 2009 1PM to 4PM
Saturday Nov. 28, 2009 10AM to 3PM

Bids will be checked at 3:30PM on
Saturday, Nov 28, 2009

Winners will be notified by phone.

Thanks to everyone who made the "Silent Auction" a huge success.  It's folks like you that make the Tyler County Museum what is is today.
