Tour the Museum

The Small Village Room is made up of items from throughout Tyler County showing
the forming of history.

 

 



Early life in Tyler County was not easy
and bringing the past back in this room
shows just how some people lived in
Tyler County in the late 1800's.

The First National Bank in Tyler County
shows how banks use to be set up, along
with a plaques and other various items.

 



 


 
 

 

Why not stop on by to see the 1950's
Juke box....and listen to so me oldies
but goodies.

 


     

Also displayed in this room are: Pictures of the Wick community, shells from the Button Factory in Paden City,
sheepskin deed which was made shortly after 1776, an old Post Office used in an old country store along
with a Postal Bag carried on horseback with Postal delivery and the key from the first Court house in Tyler County
